Resumes are scored the same way but structure points come from having Summary / Experience / Education / Skills sections, consistent date formats, bullet counts and the share of bullets containing a number.
No ATS vendor publishes its algorithm. This score is a well-grounded proxy for the things every major parser and every recruiter keyword search actually looks at — treat it as a strong directional signal, not a literal number Workday will show a recruiter.
